Welcome to The Swamp Rangers     

Welcome to the web site of The U.S. Army Swamp Ranger Association.  In the next few minuets, I will take you on a “Combat Patrol” and show you what we are all about. Our mission is to sponsor social activities that create fun for the 6^th Ranger Training Battalion ( 6^th RTB) soldiers, their families and the members who make up our Swamp Ranger organization. The 6^th RTB is located at Camp James D. Rudder on Eglin Air Force Base, Fl.

To be a member of our organization, you need ONLY to be an honorable person and support our military and our activities.

We meet at 8:00 am on the last Saturday of each month in Destin, Fl. at the Golden Coral Restaurant. We also plan monthly activities which include eating at different restaurants, cookouts, deep sea fishing trips and special events. Some of the special events we have sponsored for the 6^th RTB are cookouts, fishing trips, a Halloween party and a trip to the Gulfarium.

The Swamp Ranger Association is a non-profit organization that operates on donations. We work hard to make money so we can  sponsor fun activities for our Rangers and their families. This gives them an opportunity to spend quality time with each other. We do not require membership dues, but we ask our members to give time to help us on our fund raising projects and activities.
